Welcome to the Shelford Fire Brigade, proudly serving Shelford and surrounding areas with dedication, professionalism, and a strong community spirit.
As part of the Country Fire Authority (CFA), our brigade is committed to fire prevention, emergency response, and community safety. Whether it’s bushfires, structure fires, or road accidents, our trained volunteers stand ready to protect lives and property.

Get Involved Want to make a difference? We welcome new volunteers from all backgrounds to join us in keeping Shelford community safe. We also assist other communities and across the state in times of need. There are plenty varied roles from operational active firefighting to non-operational roles in administrative support and community engagement. Training is provided, and no previous experience is required - just a willingness to help!
